Paris called on all parties to exercise restraint, return to the ceasefire agreement established on November 26, 2024, and comply with the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.

France also urged "Hezbollah" to halt its operations and surrender its weapons, while calling on Israel to end its ground operations, stop wide-scale raids, and respect Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The French Foreign Ministry emphasized the need to enable the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) to fully carry out its mandate and exercise its freedom of movement, stressing that the protection of UN personnel, premises, and property must be ensured in accordance with international law and UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
